About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up food orders and delivering them safely and promptly to customers. This role is designed for individuals who value flexibility and independence, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want, when you want.

Day in the Life

As an independent contractor, you will use the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests, navigate to local routes, and ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner. Your personal vehicle, bike, or scooter serves as your primary tool for these deliveries. You will interact with restaurants to pick up food and with customers to complete deliveries, maintaining high standards of customer service throughout the process.

Requirements to Get Started

To join the team, you must be an independent contractor capable of providing your own vehicle, valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone for the app, and appropriate insurance. You are expected to follow all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while on handling guidelines, and specific delivery instructions. This position offers the flexibility to work part-time or full-time, and you may choose to work during peak demand times such as lunch, dinner, late nights, or weekends.

Compensation

Drivers typically earn between $15 to $25 per hour on average. $25 per hour, including base pay, promotions, and customer tips. Promotions, and customer tips. Higher earnings are possible during peak meal times and busy delivery periods.
