Frito-Lay North America Delivery Driver

About the Role

Frito-Lay is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers and Route Sales Representatives to serve as the face of our brand at grocery stores, convenience stores, and retail locations. In this role, you will manage an assigned route, ensuring that our products are delivered, stocked, and merchandised to the highest standards. This position is more than just driving; it involves building positive relationships with store managers and staff while maintaining professional interactions with customers.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with safely operating a company delivery truck to deliver products to your assigned stores. Once on-site, you will unload and stock shelves and displays, carefully rotating product to ensure freshness. You will also build promotional displays and track inventory to ensure stores are properly stocked according to company merchandising standards. Completing route paperwork and adhering to delivery and stocking deadlines are key parts of your daily routine.

Safety and Compliance

Safety is paramount in this role. You will be responsible for following DOT regulations when applicable, adhering to company safety policies, and following specific delivery procedures. Your ability to safely operate a delivery truck and load/unload product while meeting deadlines is essential to the success of the route.

Compensation and Benefits

This position typically pays $60,000 to $75,000 per year, which is commonly equivalent to $28 to $36 per hour. Compensation includes opportunities for overtime pay, performance bonuses, and route sales incentives based on sales volume and product displays. Many drivers are eligible for additional route bonuses and sales incentives, particularly for high-volume routes.
