About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up food orders from local restaurants and partnering restaurants and delivering them safely to customers. This role is designed for individuals who value flexibility and independence, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want, when you want it.

Day in the Life

Your day begins by using the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests. Driver app to accept delivery requests. Once a request is accepted, you will navigate to the restaurant, pick up the food orders, and deliver them to the customer. Throughout the day, you will follow specific delivery instructions and communicate through the app when needed to ensure a smooth experience. Your primary focus is on providing good customer service and ensuring that orders are delivered safely and on time.

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you must be an independent contractor who is self-motivated and reliable. You are responsible for providing your own vehicle, bicycle, or scooter, as well as a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone, and the necessary insurance to operate. You must be committed to following all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. Whether you are working part-time or full-time, during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours, late night, or on weekends, you are expected to maintain high standards of safety and service.
