About the Role

Frito-Lay is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers and Route Sales Representatives serve as the vital link between our brand and our customers. In this role, you are responsible for delivering, stocking, and merchandising Frito-Lay products at grocery stores, convenience stores, and various retail locations, including grocery stores and convenience stores. You will operate a company delivery truck to ensure products reach stores on time and in perfect condition.

Day in the Life

Your day involves safely operating a delivery truck and following DOT regulations when applicable. You will load and unload product, ensuring that stores are properly stocked according to company merchandising standards. A key part of your routine includes rotating product to ensure freshness and building promotional displays that drive sales. You will also track inventory and complete necessary route paperwork to maintain accurate records.

Customer Relationships

A significant aspect of this position is maintaining positive, professional relationships with store managers and staff. You will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that our products are presented attractively and that our customers receive excellent service. Your ability to build rapport with store personnel is essential for success in this role.

Safety and Compliance

Safety is our top priority. You will be expected to follow all company safety policies, merchandising standards, and delivery procedures. This includes adhering to DOT regulations and ensuring that all deliveries and stocking activities are performed safely and efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

This position typically pays $60,000 to $75,000 per year, which is commonly equivalent to $28 to $36 per hour. There are opportunities for overtime pay, performance bonuses, and route sales incentives based on sales volume and product displays. Many Frito-Lay drivers are eligible for route bonuses, sales incentives, and overtime opportunities, especially for high-volume routes.
