About the Role

Amazon Flex Delivery Drivers play a vital role in the customer experience by ensuring packages reach homes and businesses on time. Using their own vehicle, drivers are responsible for the final mile of delivery, picking up packages from an Amazon delivery station and transporting them to customers according to scheduled delivery blocks.

Day in the Life

Drivers begin their shift by picking up packages from a designated Amazon delivery station. They then load the packages into their personal vehicle and follow delivery routes optimized by the Amazon Flex app. The role involves delivering packages directly to customers and taking delivery confirmation photos to verify successful drop-offs.

While the position is based on scheduled delivery blocks, drivers may have the opportunity to accept additional blocks or remain on-call for available delivery routes when demand is high. This flexibility allows drivers to potentially increase their earnings during peak times, holidays, or high-demand delivery periods.
