The Delivery Driver Non CDL is a vital part of the Richmond, VA Profit Center, serving as the bridge between our warehouse and our customers. This role is designed for individuals who are friendly, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious, thriving on providing great customer service while working independently.
In this position, you will operate delivery trucks safely and in compliance with all company rules and regulations. Your day involves loading merchandise securely, verifying shipping documents for accuracy, and navigating to diverse destinations including job sites, customer facilities, and vendor locations. You will be responsible for unloading materials exactly where the receiving party requests, collecting payments for cash sales, and resolving any shipping discrepancies on-site. Additionally, you will act as a brand ambassador by identifying and reporting potential sales leads discovered during your routes. Safety is paramount; you will conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintain a clean cab, and report any mechanical issues immediately.

Knowledge of and ability to apply safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Ability to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations. Ability to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment. Ability to learn and operate computer-related systems used in the delivery process. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
