About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our network and help connect local restaurants with customers. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in the community by picking up food orders and delivering them safely and promptly. This role offers the flexibility to work on your own terms, allowing you to choose your schedule and decide how much or how little you want to work.

Day in the Life

Using the Uber Eats Driver app, you will accept delivery requests, navigate to local restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. You are responsible for ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service. Throughout your shift, you will follow delivery instructions, communicate through the app when needed, and adhere to all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures.

Flexibility and Earnings

This position is designed for independence and flexibility. You can work part-time or full-time, choosing hours that fit your lifestyle, including lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend shifts when delivery demand is highest. On average, drivers earn between $15 to $25 per hour, which includes base pay, promotions, and customer tips. Earnings can be higher during peak meal times and busy delivery periods.

Requirements to Get Started

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. Whether you use a personal vehicle, bike, or scooter, you must ensure you have the necessary tools to perform deliveries safely and efficiently.
