About the Role

As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up and delivering food orders from local restaurants to customers. You are the face of Uber Eats, ensuring that orders arrive safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.

How You Work

You have the freedom to design your own schedule, choosing to work as much or as little as you want. Whether you prefer part-time or full-time hours, you can choose when to work during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours based on when delivery demand is highest. This flexibility allows you to balance work with your personal life while earning competitive pay. Average earnings typically range from $15 to $25 per hour, including base pay, promotions, and customer tips, with opportunities, and tips, with higher potential during peak times.

What You Need

To get started, you must be an independent contractor with the necessary tools to perform the job. This includes providing your own vehicle, bike, or scooter, or scooter, along with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone, and appropriate insurance. You are responsible for following all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures to ensure a safe and compliant delivery process.

Your Day-to-Day

Using the Uber Eats Driver app, you will accept delivery requests, navigate to restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. You will follow specific delivery instructions and communicate through the app when needed. Your focus will be on providing a timely and professional service to every customer.
