About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking Delivery Drivers to join the team as a Delivery Driver, playing a vital role in connecting local restaurants with customers. As an independent contractor, you will use the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests, navigate to restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. Your primary responsibility is ensuring orders are delivered safely and on time while providing excellent customer service.

How You Work

You have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. You can work part-time or full-time, full-time, or during specific peak hours such as lunch, dinner, late night, or weekends, or late nights when delivery demand is highest. This autonomy allows you to balance work with your personal life while earning competitive pay.

What You Need

To get started, you must be an independent contractor who provides your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and smartphone. You must also possess a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app, and the ability to follow traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures. You are responsible for following delivery instructions and communicating through the app when needed.

Compensation

Drivers typically earn between $15 to $25 per hour on average, which includes base pay, promotions, and customer tips. Higher earnings are possible during peak meal times and busy delivery periods.
