About the Role
Frito-Lay is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers and Route Sales Representatives play a vital role in keeping grocery stores, convenience stores, and retail locations stocked with fresh products. This position goes beyond simple transportation; it is a customer-facing role where you serve as the face of Frito-Lay at the store level. You will operate a company delivery truck to deliver products, ensuring that stores are properly stocked according to company merchandising standards.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a mix of driving, physical activity, and customer interaction. You will be responsible for unloading and stocking shelves and displays, rotating product to ensure freshness, and building promotional displays. A key part of the role is maintaining positive relationships with store managers and staff, and professional relationships with, store managers and staff. You will track inventory, complete route paperwork, and ensure stores are properly stocked according to company merchandising standards.
Safety is paramount; you will follow company safety policies, merchandising standards, and delivery procedures while meeting delivery and stocking deadlines for assigned stores. When applicable, you will follow DOT regulations.
