About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by ensuring food orders are picked up from local restaurants and delivered safely and on time. You are the face of Uber Eats for many customers, providing excellent service while navigating the local community.

How You Work

You have the freedom to design your own schedule, choosing when and how much you want to work. Whether you prefer part-time or full-time hours, you can work during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours, late night, or peak meal times, or busy delivery periods based on your availability. You will use the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests, navigate to restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. Throughout the process, you are responsible for following delivery instructions, communicating through the app when needed, and ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner.

What You Bring

To get started, you must be an independent contractor who can provide your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. You must also be committed to following all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. Your ability to provide good customer service and ensure orders are delivered safely is essential to your success in this role.
