About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up food orders and delivering them safely and promptly to customers. This role is designed for individuals who value flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want, when you want.

Day in the Life

Your day begins by logging into the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests. Using your personal vehicle, bike, or scooter, or scooter, you will navigate to local restaurants to pick up food orders. Once you have the orders, you will deliver them to customers, ensuring they arrive in a timely manner and in good condition. Throughout your shifts, you will communicate through the app when needed and where necessary, following specific delivery instructions provided by customers.

Requirements to Get Started

To join the team as an independent contractor, you must provide your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and a license, insurance, and a smartphone capable of running the Uber Eats Driver app. You are responsible for adhering to all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. This position is open to both part-time and full-time workers, with opportunities to work during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when delivery demand is highest.
