Job Description
About the Role
Coca-Cola is seeking Non-CDL Delivery Drivers to deliver beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, and business locations on an assigned route. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy active, customer-facing work and take pride in accurate, timely service. Drivers serve as the face of the company, ensuring that customers receive fresh products and excellent service every day.
Day in the Life
As a Delivery Driver, your day begins with verifying orders and preparing the company box truck or delivery vehicle. You will drive to assigned customer locations, where you will unload products using hand trucks and stock shelves, coolers, and backrooms, and promotional displays. A key part of the role involves rotating older product forward to ensure freshness and building eye-catching displays that drive sales.
Throughout the day, you will maintain delivery and inventory records using handheld devices, often using handheld devices to complete delivery paperwork and verify orders. You will follow company delivery procedures, safety policies, and customer service standards to ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Building strong relationships with store managers and staff is essential, as you will interact with them regularly to ensure their needs are met.
Safety and Standards
Safety is a top priority. Drivers must maintain a clean driving record and follow all company vehicle safety guidelines. You are expected to adhere to strict customer service standards, ensuring that every interaction is professional and helpful. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as you will be lifting, stocking, and moving product throughout your shift.
Growth and Benefits
Full-time employees may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and paid holidays. The company also provides company uniforms and offers opportunities for advancement into CDL Driver or Route Sales Representative roles. Depending on location and route, drivers may also receive overtime pay, route bonuses, holiday pay, and performance-based incentives.
