About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated to connecting customers with their favorite local restaurants through a seamless delivery experience. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in this mission by picking up food orders and delivering them safely and on time. Your work ensures that customers receive their meals in excellent condition while providing a positive service experience.

Day in the Life

As an independent contractor, you have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. Using the Uber Eats Driver app, you will accept delivery requests, navigate to local restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them, and deliver them to customers. You will follow delivery instructions and communicate through the app when needed to ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner.

Requirements to Get Started

To join the team, you must be an independent contractor and provide your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. You must follow traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures while working. You can work part-time or full-time and may work during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when delivery demand is highest.
