About the Role

Uber Eats is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our network and help connect local restaurants with customers. As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in the Uber Eats ecosystem by picking up food orders and delivering them safely and efficiently. This role is designed for individuals who value flexibility and independence, allowing you to choose your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want.

Day in the Life

Your day begins by using the Uber Eats Driver app to accept delivery requests. You will navigate to local restaurants, pick up food orders, and deliver them to customers. Throughout your shift, you are responsible for ensuring orders are delivered safely and on time while providing excellent customer service. You will follow specific delivery instructions and communicate through the app when needed to ensure a smooth experience for both the restaurant and the customer.

What We Provide

We offer a flexible work environment where you can determine your own hours. You may choose to work part-time or full-time, with opportunities to work during lunch, dinner, late night, or weekend hours when delivery demand is highest. This flexibility allows you to balance work with other commitments while earning competitive pay. On average, drivers earn $15 to $25 per hour, including base pay, promotions, and customer tips, with higher earnings possible during peak meal times and busy delivery periods.

Requirements to Get Started

To become a Delivery Driver, you must be an independent contractor and provide your own vehicle, driver’s license, insurance, and smartphone to use the Uber Eats Driver app. You can use a personal vehicle, bike, or scooter for deliveries. As you work, you are expected to follow all traffic laws, food handling guidelines, and delivery procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
