Join NFI's Dedicated Trucking division as a Driver operating in New England and New York. This position focuses on Dry Van operations with a Drop & Hook model, ensuring minimal contact with freight and limited paperwork. You will be part of a team that values safety and efficiency, utilizing modern equipment with an average tractor age of less than 2.5 years, equipped with collision mitigation systems and navigation.
We are looking for experienced drivers who want consistent home time and a supportive work environment. This role offers the opportunity to balance professional responsibilities with family life through a schedule designed for weekly home time, with potential for mid-week returns if approved tractor parking is available. Our dedicated management and dispatch teams are on-site to provide local support, ensuring you have a partner in your daily operations.
As a driver, you will perform pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements while adhering to all federal, state, and customer regulations. Your day involves safely operating a Class A tractor-trailer, frequently entering and exiting the vehicle, and handling cargo that may require lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. You will be responsible for reporting any equipment issues, accidents, or traffic violations immediately. With 24/7/365 driver support available, you can focus on the road knowing help is just a call away.
