Dollar Tree is seeking a dedicated CDL-A driver to support its logistics operations out of Cowpens, South Carolina. This role is designed for drivers who thrive in an active environment and value a consistent schedule that allows them to return home weekly.
As a dedicated driver, you will operate top-of-the-line sleeper trucks equipped with automatic transmissions, pulling 53' dry trailers. The position involves delivering approximately three loads per week, covering an estimated 1,100 miles across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, including stops in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio.
A key aspect of this position is the hands-on nature of the work; drivers are required to hand-unload trailers using rollers. While the primary route involves delivering customer freight, drivers typically pick up no-touch live loads when backhauling to the Distribution Center. Drivers have the flexibility to take their trucks home for parking, provided it is safe and secure, or utilize designated parking facilities near Cowpens if they live in the area.
This full-time position offers a 34-hour weekly reset, with days off falling either from Friday night to Saturday or Saturday night to Sunday. Compensation is structured around mileage and stop pay, supplemented by a competitive benefits package including health insurance, dental, life insurance, AD&D, paid time off, and 401(k) participation. Additional incentives include bonus programs and an unlimited cash referral program.
Dollar Tree is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
