We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at DLA Land and Maritime in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will operate within a low-noise office environment, working primarily during day shifts Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as program needs dictate.
You will serve as a critical link between technical capabilities and operational requirements, researching and developing new threat detection use cases based on emerging threats and intelligence. Your work will involve collaborating with DLA stakeholders and cybersecurity subject matter experts to identify gaps in security protections and analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for reviewing data feed quality, recommending improvements, and developing custom scripts to enhance SIEM functionality. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify critical systems and application components, creating tailored alerting priorities and signatures for individual programs.
