Customer Service Associates/Cashier

About the Role

Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the primary point of contact for our members. This role is essential to maintaining the high standard of service and efficiency that defines the Costco experience. Associates are responsible for assisting members with purchases, returns, and front-end store operations, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for every visitor.

Day in the Life

As a Customer Service Associate, you will greet members warmly and assist them with a variety of tasks including operating cash registers, processing payments, and handling returns and exchanges. You will check receipts at the exit, assist customers with membership questions, and help with membership sign-ups and renewals. Additionally, you will answer general store questions and maintain a clean, organized front-end area, following Costco's customer service procedures and cash handling policies.
