Customer Service Associates/Cashier

About the Role

Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the welcoming face of our warehouse, assisting members with their purchases, returns, and front-end store operations. This role is central to maintaining the high standard of service that defines the Costco experience. Associates are responsible for creating a positive first impression by greeting members and ensuring a clean, organized front-end environment.

Day in the Life

As a Customer Service Associate, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the front end running smoothly. Your day will involve operating cash registers, processing payments, and processing transactions efficiently. You will also assist members with returns and exchanges, check receipts at the exit, and answer general questions about the store and its products.

A significant part of the role involves membership services. You will help members with questions regarding their membership status, assist with new sign-ups, and process renewals. This requires strong communication skills and a helpful attitude to ensure every member feels valued and supported.
