About the Role

Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the welcoming face of our warehouse. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for exceptional member service, ensuring that every interaction—from greeting to checkout—is positive, efficient, and organized. You will be responsible for assisting members with purchases, returns, and front-end store operations, acting as a key point of contact for member questions and needs.

Day in the Life

As a Customer Service Associate, your day involves a variety of dynamic tasks focused on member satisfaction and operational excellence. You will greet members warmly, operate cash registers, and process payments with accuracy. A significant part of the role involves handling returns and exchanges, as well as checking receipts at the exit door to ensure policy compliance. You will also assist customers with membership questions, help with membership sign-ups and renewals, and answer general inquiries about the store. Throughout your shift, you will maintain a clean, organized, and safe front-end area, adhering strictly to Costco’s customer service procedures and cash handling policies.
