About the Role
Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the welcoming face of our warehouse. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for exceptional member service, ensuring that every interaction—from greeting to checkout—is positive, efficient, and helpful. You will be responsible for assisting members with purchases, returns, and front-end store operations, acting as a key point of contact for member questions and concerns.
Day in the Life
As a Customer Service Associate, your day involves a dynamic mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will greet members warmly, operate cash registers, and process payments with accuracy. A significant part of your role includes assisting customers with returns and exchanges, checking receipts at the exit, and helping members with membership questions, sign-ups, and renewals. You will also handle general store questions and maintain a clean, organized front-end area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
