Customer Service Associates/Cashier

About the Role

Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the welcoming face of our warehouse. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for exceptional member service, ensuring that every interaction—from greeting to checkout—is positive, efficient, and organized. You will be responsible for assisting members with purchases, returns, and front-end store operations while upholding Costco’s high standards for cleanliness and customer care.

Day in the Life

As a Customer Service Associate, your day involves a variety of dynamic tasks focused on member satisfaction. You will greet members warmly, operate cash registers, and process payments accurately. A significant part of your role includes assisting customers with returns and exchanges, answering membership-related questions, and helping with membership sign-ups and renewals. You will also check receipts at the exit door and assist members with general store inquiries. Throughout your shift, you will maintain a clean, organized, and safe front-end area, following all customer service procedures and cash handling policies.
