About the Role

Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the welcoming face of our warehouse. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for exceptional member service, ensuring that every interaction—from greeting to checkout—is positive, efficient, and organized. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for members, assisting them with their shopping experience while upholding Costco’s high standards for cleanliness and operational excellence.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of front-end operations designed to keep the store running smoothly. You will greet members warmly, operate cash registers, and process payments with accuracy. A significant part of the role involves assisting members with returns, exchanges, and general store questions, as well as helping with membership sign-ups and renewals. You will also be responsible for checking receipts at the exit door and maintaining a clean, organized front-end area. Throughout your shift, you will follow strict customer service procedures and cash handling policies to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for all members.
