About the Role
Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the primary point of contact for our members. This role is essential to maintaining the high standard of service Costco is known for, ensuring that every interaction is positive, efficient, and helpful. Associates play a critical part in front-end store operations, from greeting members to processing transactions and handling returns.
Day in the Life
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing various front-end duties. Your day will involve greeting members, operating cash registers, and processing payments accurately. You will also assist customers with returns and exchanges, check receipts at the exit, and answer general questions about the store and its products.
A significant portion of your role will involve membership services. You will assist members with membership questions, sign-ups, and renewals. Additionally, you will help maintain a clean and organized front-end area, ensuring that the shopping experience remains pleasant and efficient for all visitors.

Compensation and Benefits
This position typically pays $17 to $22 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, Sunday premium pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises. Some locations may also offer attendance bonuses.
