About the Role

Costco is seeking Customer Service Associates to serve as the welcoming face of our warehouse. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for exceptional member service, ensuring that every interaction—from greeting to checkout—is handled with care and efficiency. Associates play a critical part in front-end store operations, acting as the primary point of contact for members regarding purchases, returns, and membership inquiries.

Day in the Life

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing the flow of the front-end area. Your day will involve greeting members, operating cash registers, and processing payments accurately. You will assist customers with returns and exchanges, check receipts at the exit, and answer general questions about the store and its products.

A significant portion of your role will involve membership services. You will assist members with membership questions, sign-ups, and renewals, helping to build long-term relationships with our members. Throughout the shift, you will maintain a clean and organized front-end area, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment for everyone.
