About the Role
As a CT Technologist, you will be a vital part of a dynamic team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this role, you will produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas, ensuring patient safety and comfort while utilizing age-specific knowledge. You will operate advanced equipment, position patients, and assist physicians with invasive procedures, all while maintaining a safe environment for administering contrast material.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOperates CT equipment to produce radiographs of designated body areas
- check_circleAdjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance
- check_circleExplains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns
- check_circleOrients and mentors new staff members on CT procedures
- check_circlePractices radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- check_circleMonitors, records, and communicates patient data using computerized documentation systems
- check_circlePositions patients and utilizes immobilization devices for scanning
- check_circleAssists physicians with invasive procedures and contrast material administration
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Graduate / GED
- verifiedRegistered Radiographer (ARRT)
- verifiedState Registered Radiologic Technician
- verifiedRegistered Computerized Tomography Technician
- verifiedBasic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
