About the Role
This position serves as an entry-level crew member dedicated to the manual maintenance and upkeep of public parks, grounds, facilities, streets, and infrastructure. Working under the direct supervision of a Crew Supervisor or Leader, you will be an essential part of a team ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the City of Roswell's public spaces.
Your day-to-day work is physical and varied, ranging from grounds maintenance and landscaping to street repairs and facility cleaning. You will operate a variety of light equipment and power tools, perform manual labor such as mowing, trimming, and digging, and assist skilled tradespeople on larger projects. The role requires adaptability, as tasks may shift between athletic field preparation, stormwater drainage clearing, and general building maintenance depending on the season and community needs.
Hiring Process
Applicants must possess a valid Georgia driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record. While a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, one year of experience in construction, grounds maintenance, or manual tasks is preferred.
