Neal R. Gross and Co. is a leading Court Reporting and Transcription services company based in the Washington, DC area, serving clients across the country. Our diverse client base includes local, state, and federal courts, the House of Representatives, the Department of Defense, and private sector organizations.
We are seeking experienced Court Reporters to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will visit client sites within your local area to create accurate records of proceedings using specialized equipment. You will capture verbatim accounts in various settings, including legal courts, non-profit board rooms, and depositions.
This position offers significant flexibility, accommodating candidates who can work anywhere from a few jobs a month to 2-3 per week. As a Court Reporter, you will represent Neal R. Gross & Co. professionally while interacting with high-level clients such as federal and state government entities and private industry leaders. You will be responsible for administering oaths, setting up and operating recording equipment, and ensuring all exhibits and files are properly secured and backed up.
