Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare hot and cold food items based on standardized recipes for restaurants, room service, and banquets
- check_circleComplete food and station preparation prior to restaurant opening to ensure efficient service
- check_circlePrepare and display buffet food items according to hotel standards
- check_circlePrepare and service food for the employee cafeteria as directed by the Chef or Supervisor
- check_circleBreak down buffets and kitchen lines, storing food and equipment properly after meal periods
- check_circleOperate and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment while following safety protocols
- check_circleMaintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in kitchen and storage areas
- check_circleExecute various cooking techniques including charbroiling, poaching, sautéing, and roasting
- check_circleAssist in training other cooks and pantry staff members
- check_circleRotate and store food items according to hotel procedures to minimize waste
Requirements
