As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting high-quality, compliant contracting processes that enable efficient healthcare operations. You will negotiate agreements with contracting agencies, payors, and other healthcare partners while ensuring all documents align with our mission of compassionate care.
In this role, you will frequently consult with operations and other departments during the contract preparation process. You will gather and analyze data from branch personnel, regulatory departments, and external sources to support projects, providing input to field management to assess the operational and financial feasibility of agreements. Your work will involve developing original contracts, letters, and other documents to support business objectives, while ensuring accurate and timely entry of information into the department database.
You will interact with internal customers and other departments, including Risk Management, Clinical Services, Law, and Regulatory, with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness. This is a safety-sensitive position where you will participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
