JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). About the Role
As a Configuration Management Specialist at China Lake, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and establishing Configuration Management (CM) documentation to support program requirements. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity and security of enhanced sites and systems within the China Lake Ranges.
In this role, you will coordinate the development and implementation of computer-based configuration and data management systems. Your work will involve analyzing engineering change proposals, monitoring contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards, and participating in design reviews, audits, and scheduling activities. You will also lead Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), record minutes and action items, and provide work direction to subordinate personnel. The role requires a blend of technical precision and strategic oversight to maintain alignment with CLR standards and manage complex engineering data.
Location and Requirements
This position is located onsite at China Lake and is not eligible for telework. Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance at the time of application and be willing to upgrade to a Top Secret clearance. Additionally, tasking is in support of a federal government contract, which requires U.S. citizenship.
