DCS Corporation is seeking a Computer Science Intern to provide technical support for the United States Marine Corps Future Systems and other Future and Fielded Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS). This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on critical defense infrastructure at the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in St. Inigoes, MD.
The role is designed to immerse you in a collaborative environment where you will work closely with project management, development teams, and the ATC&LS team. You will assist in the creation, modification, and testing of code and scripts that enable computer applications to run, as well as develop programs to manage the storage, location, and retrieval of specific documents and data. This position involves analyzing special problem areas and working from specifications drawn up by software and web developers.
This is an onsite position located at the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Webster Outlying Field in St. Inigoes, MD. An onsite presence is required to effectively support the mission.
This internship includes the possibility of converting to a part- or full-time position following the completion of the internship term, offering a clear pathway for long-term growth within the organization.
Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this role. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Interested candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
