About the Role
As a Companion Care provider with Sittercity, you play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients in their own homes. Your primary mission is to provide meaningful companionship and emotional support, fostering a sense of connection and well-being. Beyond social interaction, you will assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care, ensuring their environment remains comfortable and safe.
Your day-to-day involvement extends to promoting mental and emotional health through engaging conversations and stimulating activities. You may also accompany clients to appointments and outings, providing reliable support and companionship during their travels. A key aspect of your role involves monitoring clients' health and behavior, promptly reporting any changes to the appropriate authorities or family members to ensure continuous care and safety.
