About the Role
As a Companion Care provider with Sittercity, you play a vital role in supporting clients within the comfort of their own homes. Your primary mission is to provide meaningful companionship and emotional support, fostering an environment that promotes mental and emotional well-being. You will engage clients in stimulating activities and conversations, ensuring they feel connected and valued.
Beyond companionship, you will assist with essential daily living activities, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care. You may also accompany clients to appointments and outings, providing reliable support and ensuring they remain active and engaged in their community. A key aspect of this role involves monitoring clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate authorities to ensure their safety and well-being.
