The Communications Specialist is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for bringing Beacon Mobility's stories, values, and initiatives to life. Anchored in independent responsibilities and content design, this position supports internal communications across multiple platforms while collaborating with various departments to meet their unique communication needs.
The core mission of this role is to turn strategy into engaging, well-crafted content that connects employees across our brands and regions. By focusing on execution and creative excellence, you will ensure that Beacon's communications strategy comes to life through thoughtful, on-brand human content. Your work will help employees feel informed, connected, and proud to be part of Beacon, reinforcing the belief that every ride matters.
In this position, you will create, edit, and publish high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content. You will design visual assets, manage the company's Canva account, and edit short-form video and photo content. You will publish and format content across platforms including the MyBeacon App, OptiSigns, SharePoint, and email systems. Additionally, you will support multiple departments with project communication, events, and engagement programs, frequently updating microsites and the employee intranet. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Communications Manager, leaders, and frontline teams to execute priorities and manage projects independently, ensuring all content adheres to branding guidelines and inclusive company values.
