As a Coin Teller, you will work closely with your team to maintain inventory within our secure cash vaults for Loomis customers. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate handling and storage of coin assets in a high-security environment.
You will be responsible for counting, sorting, and handling coin bags weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as managing the proper storage of pallets of boxed coin. The position requires the ability to move bulk coin using hand carts or manual pallet jacks.
This role takes place in a large area within a vault, characterized by little to no exposure to outside light. The position operates on a full-time schedule, which can potentially consist of an average of 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days worked during a 6-day period.
To qualify for the Coin Processor position, candidates must meet specific state requirements for a handgun license/permit or a Security Officer Commission. Additionally, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required as part of the qualification process. This evaluation tests physical capabilities including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive coupling to ensure safety and operational readiness.
