Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct medical record audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- check_circleProvide real-time coding and documentation support via phone and virtual training
- check_circleDevelop and deliver educational materials and workshops for providers
- check_circleOffer guidance on government and payer reporting policies for coded data
- check_circleAnalyze coding data and collaborate with leadership to drive improvement
- check_circleWork with clinical managers to maintain coding standards and best practices
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Science or related field (Preferred)
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of professional service/physician coding experience (Required)
- verifiedCertified Professional Coder (CPC) Required
- verifiedCertified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) Preferred (or must obtain within 2 years of hire)
- verifiedStrong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines
- verifiedFirm understanding of medical terminology and compliance standards
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
