As a Certified Medical Assistant III, you will serve as a dedicated advocate for patient needs, collaborating closely with both patients and their care teams to ensure the delivery of high-level care. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in building strong, meaningful bonds with patients and colleagues while seeking opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive environment.
You will play a vital part in the continuum of care, assisting patients across the lifespan from preventative maintenance through treatment and follow-up. Your presence helps create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment where patients and families feel respected and dignified. Whether addressing psychosocial needs or managing physical care requirements, you will act as a crucial link between the patient, their family, and the broader medical team.
Your day involves collecting health status data, performing point-of-care testing, and preparing patients for examinations. In addition to clinical duties, you will maintain office protocols, manage supplies, and assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. The role requires adaptability, as you may encounter high-stress situations, emergencies, or emotionally challenging interactions, requiring you to remain calm, tactful, and responsive to the needs of pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
