About the Role
The Cloud Procurement Manager is a key procurement role supporting global sourcing, commercial negotiations, and supplier management for public cloud services. The role partners closely with Category Managers, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to deliver value, ensure governance, and enable SAP’s cloud and growth strategy.
About the Team
The GPO – Cloud Infrastructure team is part of the GPO IT & Cloud Organization within the Global Procurement Organization and acts as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders. We are a high performing team! The team defines and executes global category strategies in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance, and controlling, and manages sourcing and suppliers worldwide. The Cloud Infrastructure category includes five core subcategories: public cloud services/ hyperscalers, private cloud and platform technologies, network infrastructure and connectivity, data center and colocation services, and related cloud infrastructure technologies.

Requirements
- verifiedUniversity degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- verifiedExtensive experience in IT or Cloud procurement within a multinational setting
- verifiedExperience managing multimillion-euro agreements and complex procurement arrangements
- verifiedStrong expertise in sourcing, category management, and contract negotiations
- verifiedExperience engaging with public cloud providers and cloud infrastructure services
- verifiedExperience negotiating with hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM (Preferred)
- verifiedProcurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CTPE/CTPD) (Preferred)
- verifiedIT or cloud-related certifications (Preferred)
- verifiedFamiliarity with procurement and digital tools such as Ariba, SpendHQ, Concur, or Copilot (Preferred)
