About the Role
As a Class A CDL Route Driver in Merrimack, NH, you will be the backbone of our mission to create a more sustainable future. This position involves loading, hauling, and delivering food waste on intra- and interstate routes with multiple stops daily. You will operate 30-45' open-top dump trailers, utilizing pressure washers to ensure client locations are left clean and free of debris. Beyond driving, you will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain equipment cleanliness, and communicate regularly with customers and the operations team to ensure seamless service.
This is a Monday-Friday route, though flexibility is required to accommodate seasonality and potential interstate assignments. As a safety-sensitive position, you are responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of others, requiring a clear mind and diligence in all operations.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOperate 30-45' open-top dump trailers and manual or automatic transmission vehicles
- check_circlePerform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain basic truck equipment cleanliness
- check_circlePerform basic repairs on company bins and equipment using hand tools
- check_circleMaintain and submit paperwork including contamination tickets, service tickets, and truck maintenance logs
- check_circleReport all accidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager
- check_circleAttend and participate in weekly safety calls, trainings, and briefings
- check_circleUtilize pressure washers to rinse bins and leave client locations clean and free of debris
- check_circleUtilize electronic logging systems for DOT driver logs and manage expense documentation
- check_circleOperate manual or electric pallet jacks as needed during route operations
Requirements
- verifiedClass A CDL License (self-certified as Non-Excepted Interstate)
- verifiedClean MVR and PSP
- verifiedAt least 23 years of age with 2 years tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year experience (if Truck Driving School graduate or 1 year Military experience)
