About the Role
Melton Truck Lines is seeking Class A CDL drivers to join our team of Over-the-Road (OTR) flatbed drivers. With over 72 years of industry experience, we understand what matters most to drivers. Our mission is to provide a driver-focused experience built around your success, whether you are an experienced professional, a recent CDL graduate, or a transitioning military veteran.
As a Solo Company Driver, you will run nationwide on an OTR schedule, typically spending a minimum of 2–3 weeks on the road at a time. You will operate late-model, meticulously maintained flatbed trucks, allowing you to focus on the road ahead without worrying about mechanical issues. The role involves hauling flatbed loads across the country, with an average of 2,200 to 2,500 miles per week.
We offer a comprehensive flatbed training program to help you gain the skills and confidence needed for securement. Drivers can also take advantage of our industry-leading tarp pay program, earning $100 for every load tarping, which can equate to an extra $10,000 annually. For those interested in career growth, we provide numerous career path options and up to $10,000 in tuition reimbursement.
