Our dispatch team works to keep you in preferred lanes and ensure you have consistent home time.
About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to drive specialized freight with a company that values its drivers. We provide a supportive environment where you can focus on the road while we handle the logistics. Drivers have the option to utilize our Rider Program and bring pets along on the road. After six months, eligible drivers may explore a lease purchase option to own their equipment.
Hiring Process & Application
To qualify with Baggett Transportation, candidates must meet specific criteria regarding age, driving experience, and safety records. Applicants must be at least 25 years old and possess one year of over-the-road driving experience within the last five years. A DOT physical is required for all candidates.
We offer a paid orientation week, including a $500 stipend, to help new drivers get settled. The process includes a review of driving history, including restrictions on DUI/DWI offenses, speeding violations, and preventable accidents. Team drivers may also need to meet additional security clearance requirements, such as U.S. citizenship and a clean financial and criminal background.
