Just got your CDL-A? Start your Over-The-Road (OTR) career strong with Bison USA. This role is designed specifically for recent graduates who have their license and are ready to gain real-world experience. From paid training to your first solo load, we support new drivers every mile of the way.
You will be part of a team that values steady work and consistent growth. The position offers 2,000–2,500 weekly miles in late-model van and reefer trailers, with a focus on 98% no-touch freight so you can focus on driving. After completing your training, you will be assigned your own truck and begin your journey as an independent driver.
We believe in investing in our drivers from day one. Your journey begins with 3 days of orientation followed by 5 days of classroom and terminal training. You will then enter a 4-week in-cab paid training program with an experienced mentor. For those who demonstrate exceptional skill, a fast-track option allows for a 2-week in-cab training period based on evaluation. Once you complete the program, you receive your own truck and head home.
Bison USA is more than just a trucking company; it is a place where drivers matter. We offer a supportive environment that encourages career growth, ensuring we don't just hire you, but grow with you. Drivers enjoy the flexibility of being pet and rider-friendly, allowing you to bring someone or something you love on the road. With a schedule that typically keeps you home 2–3 days every 2–3 weeks, you can maintain a balance between your career and personal life.
If you hold a valid Class A CDL, graduated from a CDL school within the last 90 days, and are 21 or older, we want to hear from you. You must be willing to run OTR for 2–3 weeks at a time and pass all DOT screenings. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
