Class A CDL Company Driver - Grad Training - OTR - Dry Van

About the Role

Bison USA is dedicated to helping new drivers build a strong future in the trucking industry, starting from day one. This position is specifically designed for CDL-A recent graduates who have completed their schooling within the last 90 days and are ready to launch their Over-The-Road (OTR) careers. The role offers a pathway from paid training to your first solo load, ensuring you have support every mile of the way.

As a new driver with Bison, you will operate late-model van and reefer trailers on steady OTR routes. You can expect to run 2,000 to 2,500 miles per week, with home time scheduled every 2–3 weeks for 2–3 days. The position features 98% no-touch freight, allowing you to focus on driving, and includes the opportunity to bring a pet or rider on the road.

Training and Development

We believe in investing in our drivers. Upon joining, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that includes 3 days of orientation and 5 days of classroom and terminal training. This is followed by 4 weeks of in-cab paid training with an experienced driver. A fast-track option is available for qualified candidates, reducing in-cab training to 2 weeks based on evaluation. Upon successful completion of training, you will be assigned your own truck and head home.

Application Process

To join the Bison Herd, candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and pass all DOT screenings. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a hunger to learn. Qualified recent graduates can also inquire about our tuition reimbursement program of up to $6,000.
