Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAnalyze complex general liability claims to determine benefits and exposure
- check_circleAssess liability and resolve claims within designated evaluation authority
- check_circleCoordinate vendor referrals for investigation and litigation management
- check_circleIdentify subrogation opportunities and negotiate settlements
- check_circleCalculate and manage claim reserves throughout the claim lifecycle
- check_circleNegotiate claim settlements within designated authority levels
- check_circleManage the litigation process for timely and cost-effective resolution
- check_circleCommunicate claim activity with claimants and maintain client relationships
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- verifiedProfessional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- verifiedFive (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- verifiedSubject matter expert of appropriate insurance principles and laws for line-of-business handled
- verifiedPC literate, including Microsoft Office products
