Key Responsibilities
- check_circleHandle complex property, collapse, and earth movement claims
- check_circlePerform on-site property inspections including roofs and attics
- check_circleMentor less experienced claim representatives
- check_circleServe as technical supervisor in manager's absence
- check_circleAssist with regional audits and compliance checks
- check_circleInvestigate, evaluate, and negotiate claim settlements
Requirements
- verifiedCollege degree or equivalent experience
- verifiedSeven (7) years of claim experience
- verifiedThree years’ experience in handling complex claim files
- verifiedValid California Driver License
- verifiedAuthorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- verifiedKnowledge of current claims laws, civil and tort law, and Property insurance case law
- verifiedWorking knowledge of mathematics and common accounting practices for income/living-expense calculations
- verifiedStrong negotiation skills
- verifiedAbility to communicate complex legal concepts and policy-contract interpretation in writing and orally
