Located at the Turner Center in Springfield, Missouri, this position is part of our Retail Pharmacy team. Pharmacy technicians play a vital role in our patient care ecosystem by assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and managing patient records.
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, ensuring all tasks are performed within legal boundaries. Your day will involve presenting completed medications for pharmacist verification and routinely interacting with patients to ensure quality service. Whether you are a certified professional or just starting your journey, you will be an essential part of a fast-paced environment where direct customer and patient interactions are key to our mission.
Applicants must meet specific state and national requirements. Certified Pharmacy Technicians must hold certification through a nationally accredited organization and be registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy (or have an application in process upon hire, to be obtained within 90 days). For the Pharmacy Technician role, registration with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy is required (or an application completed upon hire, to be obtained within 90 days).
