About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their dignity, hygiene, and comfort are maintained at all times. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, families, and healthcare professionals, facilitating seamless coordination of care and timely communication regarding any changes in client conditions.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve providing direct assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. You will be responsible for measuring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and communicating these findings to healthcare professionals as needed. Additionally, you will aid clients with mobility and transfers using assistive devices like wheelchairs, walkers, or lifts. To ensure a safe and comfortable living environment, you will also perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. A key part of your role involves helping clients manage their health through medication reminders and monitoring for any changes in their condition.
