About the Role

As a Residential Rear Load Driver, you will operate various types of trucks to service many different routes in various areas, collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants.

Hiring Process
Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment testing. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid Class B CDL and a valid DOT Medical Card (or be able to obtain one prior to hire). A background check regarding driving history is required, including no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years and no DUIs or OVIs within the last 5 years (or 2 in the last 10 years).

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleService customers by emptying trash and recycling containers into trucks
- check_circlePull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings
- check_circleReplace trash and recycling receptacles neatly at the curb
- check_circleMaintain and update route and driver log sheets
- check_circleInteract professionally with customers to provide excellent service
- check_circleDeliver trash or recycling containers as needed
- check_circleEnter and exit the truck approximately 300-500 times daily
- check_circleHaul waste and recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants
- check_circleConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- check_circleClean up waste spills, overflows, and packer blades
Requirements
- verifiedValid Class B CDL
